KW Colour inspiration #42

I made this card as part of a set for my BFF. She lives in Hawaii so I thought I had best give her some that would work for males, and tweens.
I think this card did the job, simple yet fun and young. What do you think?
I find it very hard to make cards for tweens and teens do you also? Have you got any hints for me? Where do you get your inspiration from?

Today was a sad day for me; because my BFF and her family went back home to Kona. As always it was so lovely to visit with them, but time went much too quickly.

I hope you take time to appreciate all you have today, drink in every wonderful moment each day!

It's all about the Ingredients:
Paper- WW mustard, rust brown, DP scenic route, PTI white,
Ink-chalk, SU! choco chip
Embelishments: coconut buttons, raffia, SU! round corner punch, cuttle bug embossing folder, COPIC E57(around the edge of sentiment)
