Don't you just love flowers and birds? They make me think of Spring. After this long Winter I can hardly wait for Spring to arrive. Unfortunately, the weather man says it is going to be a wee bit longer, as we are getting snow again this week. What happened to living on the WET Coast? I didn't sign up for the SNOW! I love snow don't get me wrong, but by March I am OVER it!
When I saw the challenge today to use a critter over at Caardvardks; I jumped at the chance to play along. Anything to play with happy colours and Spring like critters. I really love this new bird, it is from Inkadinkadoo. It is a clear set, and I have never worked with theirs before. I find that is does not work well with a lot of inks. If anyone has tips for how I can remedy this it would be greatly appreciated!
Hope Spring is on the way to you!

You're going to hate me for saying this Reica but here in Oklahoma it's going to be a nice and toasty 91 degrees!!!
ReplyDeleteIf it's any consolation though it still LOOKS like winter here! LOL
Anyway, beautiful card, that bird is sooooo pretty! Thanks for joining in on the Caardvarks Critters Challenge this week!
oh my goodness! if this card doesn't warm up the weather and hasten spring along, then NOTHING will!!! so bright & cheerful!!!
ReplyDeleteLove that cool bird ... so beautiful in these bright springy colors.
ReplyDeleteThis is stunning! Definitely springy too (I'm with you wishing it would hurry up)!
ReplyDeleteFor the Inkadoo stamps...this sounds extreme, but it works, try using a very fine grit sandpaper to scuff them just a bit.
Perfect!! GREAT colours and a NICE desigN!
ReplyDeleteSuper SWEET!!! There is something about plaid that screams spring to me...fab card!!!
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful card! I love, and will always love this line!
